Grow Tips

There are a few important points to keep in mind when growing the Permanent Marker cannabis strain, known for its strong Indica characteristics and distinctive scent. These tips can help ensure a successful harvest of this potent strain:

1. Climate control

Temperature:
Maintain ideal temperatures between 20-26°C during the day. At night, temperatures may drop slightly, but not below 18°C, so as not to endanger plant health.

Humidity:
During the vegetative phase, humidity should be around 40-60%. Lower this to 35-45% during the flowering phase to reduce the risk of mold and other moisture problems.

2. Lighting

Use powerful LED or HPS lamps that provide enough light for the plant's vigorous growth and flower development. The plant should receive about 18 hours of light during the vegetative phase and 12 hours of light during the flowering phase.

3. Soil and fertilization

A well-drained, nutrient-rich soil is ideal for permanent markers. Mix the soil with compost, perlite and/or coco coir to ensure good drainage and adequate aeration for the roots.

Start with a balanced NPK fertilizer during the growth phase and increase the phosphorus and potassium content during the flowering phase to optimize flower development.

4. Water requirements

Water the plants regularly, but allow the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. This will help prevent root rot and overwatering.

Monitor the pH of the water, which should ideally be between 6.0 and 7.0 to ensure the best possible nutrient absorption.

5. Pruning and training

Prune "Permanent Marker" regularly to ensure good air circulation and light penetration through the plant. In particular, remove the lower leaves and shoots that receive little light.

Techniques such as Low Stress Training (LST) or the Screen of Green (ScrOG) method can stimulate the plant to produce more flowers and grow evenly.

6. Pest and disease management

Keep an eye out for pests and diseases and treat them early with appropriate, environmentally friendly products such as neem oil or insect repellent plants.

Maintain good hygiene in the growing area to avoid diseases and pest infestations.

7. Harvest time

You can determine the right time to harvest Permanent Marker by observing the trichomes. When most of the trichomes are milky to amber in color, it is time to harvest.

These tips should help you successfully grow the demanding Permanent Marker strain and maximize both the quality and quantity of the harvest. Good luck with your cultivation!
